Our History

NQ Cycle Journeys is a small, family run business offering cycle touring showcasing the natural and cultural wonders of Townsville and North Queensland.  Our goal is to encourage people to explore the Townsville area by bike, with hire options of conventional bikes and e-bikes, with guided and self guided tours available.  We cater for families, with children's bikes and seat/trailer accessories available.
We also aim to provide general information on bike riding routes and accessibility around Townsville to support people to start riding.
We love exploring the outdoors and regularly ride our bikes around Townsville and Magnetic Island. We enjoy the convenience and freedom of exploring our local area by bike.
Amongst many other things, Julia and Ian have been avid cyclists for 20+ years and have previously worked in cycle tourism in New Zealand.
