The Strand, Jezzine Barracks and Castle Hill
Get a breathtaking view of Townsville from on top of Castle Hill. Our e-bikes take the grind out of going up hill. Afterwards, why not roll down to the iconic Strand for sun, swimming, cafes and bars.
Pallarenda and Town Common Wetlands
Take the coastal shared path all the way out to Cape Pallarenda to discover historical and cultural sites, conservation and the amazing birdlife in the Town Common Wetlands.

Ross River Trails
Take a journey along the serene pathways of the tranquil Ross River. Cruise through tidal wetlands, shady forests and remnants of mango orchards. Keep your eye out for turtles, wallabies, an array of birdlife and even a fresh water crocodile (if you're lucky). The Riverway Lagoons offer free, patrolled swimming pools, perfect for cooling off on a warm day.
MAGNETIC ISLAND UPDATE
We LOVE Magnetic Island and have been riding our bikes around there for the last 10 years, however over the last 1-2 years, tourist numbers and traffic have increased significantly. Unfortunately, cycling infrastructure has not.
Sadly, it has come to the point where we can no longer recommend Magnetic Island as a safe cycling destination, therefore are not recommending that you cycle around the island anymore.
There are safe cycle paths and footpaths between Nelly Bay and Arcadia, however to access the Forts Walk, Picnic Bay and Horseshoe Bay requires cycling on narrow roads with heavy traffic including buses.
We recommend that you utilise the bus system or walk to access various parts of the island, however acknowledge that confident cyclists may still wish to ride bikes. You are still welcome to hire our bikes to ride around Magnetic Island, but we want you to understand and acknowledge the risks that you are taking in doing so.
We note that improving cycling infrastructure with safe cycling access to all 4 villages is noted in the Magnetic Island 2030 Tourism Masterplan -https://issuu.com/townsvilleenterprise/docs/magnetic_island_2030_tourism_masterplan_final . We look forward to being able to recommend Magnetic Island as a cycling destination once this is achieved in the future.

Douglas Mountain Bike Park located in the foothills of Mt Stuart offers premier single track riding with an XC and all mountain focus. The 41km of trails cater for more experienced riders chasing hills and thrills.
